The US Navy awarded Applied Intuition a contract to scale its Data Engine across the naval fleet to improve threat detection for US ships. The system uses passive navigation capabilities to collect data at sea and deploys trained perception models back to vessels over the air. The announcement followed Project Meridian participants and Department of War leaders gathering at the Navy's Maritime Big Play event in San Diego as part of a 120 day sprint mandate.
