Giving chat feedback gives Anthropic your data

Anthropic will not use inputs or outputs from its commercial products by default to train its models, but may use chats and coding sessions to train models if users explicitly report feedback or bugs via the thumbs up/down feedback button or otherwise choose to allow data usage. When feedback is provided via the thumbs up/down button, the entire related conversation, including content, custom styles, conversation preferences, or model settings, is stored in a secured back-end for up to 5 years, though feedback data does not include raw content from connectors such as Google Drive or remote and local MCP servers unless directly copied into the conversation.
