Nebius CEO Arkady Volozh said certain capital sources, including debt and asset-backed markets, have been temporarily closed to AI infrastructure providers since last week, prompting the company to use customer advances and other financial instruments to maintain gigawatt-scale capacity construction. The company secured a $3.5 billion senior secured credit facility from Citi with a 364-day maturity and rates starting at SOFR + 2.75%, and Nebius Chief Revenue Officer Marc Boroditsky noted that 2027 capacity would likely sell out immediately if brought online today.
