UK Warns AI Cyberattack on National Infrastructure Likely Within 2 Years

The National Cyber Security Centre told Britain on Tuesday that core utility and government networks face a heightened threat of machine-learning-based intrusions. The agency cautioned that the country must prepare for a high-tech digital assault on its critical national infrastructure within the next 24 months. The security agency stated that China is likely the most capable actor in the world to conduct such operations.
