US Probes Apex Logistics for Nvidia Chip Smuggling to China After 9 Indictments in Taiwan

Federal agents are scrutinizing a Singapore-based logistics provider for its alleged role in shipping restricted hardware to the Chinese market. Apex Logistics is cooperating with the US government investigation into the diversion of Nvidia AI servers, which are subject to strict export controls.

The probe follows recent Taiwanese indictments of 9 people, including employees from Nvidia and Super Micro. Those charges concerned the illegal export of 130 B300 servers, of which 74 were allegedly delivered to China through Indonesia, Japan and Hong Kong before customs intercepted the remaining 56.
