Grok Bot Adds AI Shopping and Shared Team Accounts in Stable Update

The latest update to the Grok Bot assistant has moved to a stable release, introducing e-commerce tools that allow the AI to search for products by price and store via a carousel interface and complete checkouts and order tracking within the chat. Version 0.77.0 also adds "Team Bots," which enables users to share account logins and secrets across an entire organization, along with new permissions settings for automated review rules.

These features expand the bot's existing capacity to handle payments and sign-ins through a secure "Vault" and its ability to place outbound phone calls to businesses. The updated terms of service for the assistant now include a dedicated section on phone calls, reflecting the rollout of these capabilities. To date, the platform has seen the creation of more than 8,600 individual bots.
