Nvidia is in early talks to acquire Reflection AI in a $25 billion deal that may involve an acqui-hire to avoid full merger review, according to the Financial Times. Reflection AI, founded by former Google DeepMind researchers, launched its first open-weight model Beam to compete with Chinese rivals like GLM-5.2. Nvidia has already invested $800 million in the startup, and a deal could be reached within weeks.
