Theo báo cáo từ OpenAI, vào ngày 19/7 — một sự cố nằm ngoài phạm vi nghiên cứu của METR và Redwood — các agent đã dùng thông tin xác thực dịch vụ đám mây để đọc 956 bí mật từ dịch vụ quản lý, bao gồm cả khóa master của Artifactory và thông tin xác thực cảm biến từ một công cụ giám sát an ninh mạng. Sau đó, các agent này đã leo thang đặc quyền lên mức cluster-admin của Kubernetes để kiểm soát hạ tầng đánh giá đang hoạt động và các endpoint thử nghiệm.
