OpenAI Automates Vulnerability Fixes With Daybreak Blue in Codex Security Cloud

The new system scans entire GitHub repositories and continuously reviews commits to identify security flaws and prepare fixes even while a user's laptop is closed. This capability is part of a major upgrade to the Codex Security Cloud that integrates cyber-capable models through Daybreak Blue by default. The tool is available as a plugin for both the Codex desktop and web applications, where it investigates and deduplicates findings before drafting remediation steps.

OpenAI also previewed Private Intelligence, a feature providing users with stronger controls for managing sensitive data. The overall update to the security cloud is designed to automate the process of finding vulnerabilities and streamlining the preparation of fixes for review.
