An anonymous multimodal AI model called Ox Alpha has launched for free testing on OpenRouter and OpenCode with a 1 million token context window and a daily capacity of 100 trillion tokens. The stealth model supports text, image, and video inputs and implements a zero data retention policy for its current testing phase. It is available for free usage through the Hermes Agent and other providers for one week to collect feedback for further development.

Technical analysis by users suggests the model is a new multimodal variant of the GLM family from ZAI, likely GLM 5.3 Vision. Evidence includes tokenizer fingerprints that align with GLM 5.3 with a consistent difference of only 75 tokens, as well as matching speed and cache hit rates. Other speculation initially pointed to Xiaomi's MiMo 3.0, citing the company's previous habit of stealth testing models on OpenRouter under the name Hunter Alpha.
