OpenAI said GPT-6 Astra rolled out ahead of schedule, and the company will still give Plus, Pro and Business users a full banked reset. A separate post said Astra had been a major competitive advantage before general release and boosted productivity enough to move some plans 6 months ahead, to DevDay from mid next year.

Benchmark figures shared in another post showed Astra’s computer-use results rising to 92.7% from 76.9% on ScreenSpot-Pro and to 72.6% from 65.7% on OSWorld 2.0, with 47% less time in latency simulations. Mind2Web web tasks ran 1.9x faster with Astra and an updated Codex harness, and a separate launch post said OpenAI is committing $1 billion to subsidize Daybreak access and frontier capabilities.
