Users can now watch as the Hermes AI clicks and types inside the desktop application's Preview pane to complete web tasks. The update enables the assistant to scroll, navigate, and annotate pages in a visible browser, shifting the product from a chat window tied to tools into an agent capable of executing multi-step workflows such as reproducing web issues or filling out dashboards.

The development team is transitioning the app to a version-only based install system utilizing compiled binaries to improve stability. This change will provide signed installs linked to specific patch or full version releases, although the command line interface will continue to pin to the main branch.
