Access to the Grok AI assistant returned to normal after a technical failure at a SpaceXAI facility in Memphis disrupted services on September 3. The company apologized to its impacted compute partners and users for the outage that halted operations earlier that morning, confirming that all systems are now functioning nominally.

Elon Musk said SpaceXAI is taking corrective action to ensure the failure does not happen again. The disruption occurred alongside reports of degraded performance for other AI services during a period of simultaneous downtimes for several frontier models.
