Nscale investors are pressuring the British AI data center provider to lower its IPO valuation target to $16 billion to $19 billion, down from $30 billion, as the company seeks to raise up to $3 billion. The reduced target follows operational setbacks including Microsoft canceling a 23,000 GPU deal due to power availability concerns and a fire at its Norway site reducing capacity to 6.4 MW of a planned 30 MW. Microsoft and Anthropic account for about 85% of Nscale's $103 billion contract pipeline.
