Suno released a three-model suite of generative AI music tools that allows users to edit individual song sections with plain English prompts and mash vocals from one track with drums from another. The flagship v6 and an experimental v6-wild version are available through Pro subscriptions for $8 per month or Premier accounts for $24 per month, while a v6-mini model is free for all users. These models can also generate music using audio, images, video clips, or voice notes as starting references.

Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe served as development partners for the release, marking a shift for Warner after the two parties settled a copyright lawsuit in November 2025. Suno is currently building artist-specific tools that would allow musicians to opt in and receive payments. The company also introduced song download limits on September 3, capping Pro users at 20 per month and Premier users at 60 per month.
