AI Rout Wipes $4 Trillion From Magnificent Seven Valuation

A selloff in artificial intelligence shares has pushed four of the largest U.S. tech companies into bear market territory, erasing $4 trillion in combined valuation from the Magnificent Seven group. Google and Meta have posted losses of 30% and 22% respectively, while only Microsoft, Nvidia, and Apple remain in positive territory for 2026. The downturn reflects a broader market slide in which more than 60% of S&P 500 stocks have dropped at least 20% from their peaks.
