Apple agreed with Brussels on a European edition of its $299 HomeView smart display after making multiple concessions, MacGeneration reported Tuesday. The report followed Apple's announcement earlier that day that HomeView would not be sold in the European Union because Siri AI was unavailable on iOS there. HomeView uses facial recognition to personalize content for up to six people and supports Apple apps, FaceTime and smart home controls, with shipments beginning November 13.
