A filing for an initial public offering by the creator of the Claude chatbot could arrive as early as next week, according to the Financial Times. Morgan Stanley is the frontrunner for the lead-left role, while Goldman Sachs will serve as stabilization agent, alongside JPMorgan, Citi, and Barclays. Investors anticipate a valuation of $2 trillion or more for the listing, supported by a July annualized revenue pace of $65 billion, which rose from $47 billion in May.

Anthropic is finalizing a $15 billion pre-IPO credit facility to eliminate financing and timing risks prior to the debut. A roadshow is planned for late September, with trading potentially beginning in early October. Greg Martin of Rainmaker Securities said the listing may open the floodgates for other technology IPOs this fall.
