Waymo passengers can now use voice commands to control their cabin and learn about their surroundings through a dedicated interface. The integration is part of a monthly Gemini Drops update that also launches the Gemini 3.7 Flash model for multi-step tasks and Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash for extending generated videos.
The AI assistant operates independently of the Waymo Driver and remains inactive until a user selects the Gemini icon on the screen. Other additions to the product suite include new student resources and task delegation tools via Gemini Live.
