Speridlabs Releases Open-Source Idol Model for Image-to-3D Generation

Speridlabs has released Idol, an open-source image-to-3D generation model using a 3D-DiT architecture, with code, weights, and a demo available under an Apache 2.0 license. The 600M-parameter model runs on consumer-grade hardware with less than 7.2 GB of VRAM and can produce 1M splats within 3 seconds.
