AIB Data Centers shares surged 25.7% in premarket trading Tuesday as the company entered into a new business partnership with Nebius. Under the terms of a binding 12 year agreement, Nebius secures 50 MW of dedicated AI capacity split across two data halls at AIB's campus in the southeastern US. The project is supported by a separate 65 MW utility power agreement to ensure capacity is available.

Prepayments from customers will fund construction and limit the need for Nebius to issue additional equity, as the company identifies the time required to secure power as its binding constraint. While Nebius maintains a multi gigawatt long term target, it is currently pursuing smaller agreements to diversify construction risk and lock up fragmented pockets of power. Recent mid term AI cloud contracts for the company were priced between $20M and $25M in annual contract value per MW.
