The Chinese developer of the Kimi K3 AI model has entered talks with Microsoft, Amazon, and Google to allow the cloud giants to host its software. Moonshot AI is seeking up to a 30% share of revenues from services related to the model in these early negotiations, according to three people familiar with the matter.
The Kimi K3 model is a central asset for Moonshot AI as it seeks to scale its distribution. Finalized agreements would enable the company to utilize the global data center infrastructure of the world's largest cloud providers to deliver its frontier AI.
