Sierra and Meta published the initial draft of the Personal Agent Protocol on Oct 9 and added 35 design partners. The open standard aims to give consumers more data control and provide a secure alternative for merchants to authenticate AI agents. A v0.1 specification due later this month will implement OAuth-based sessions.
