Liquid AI d1 Becomes First Model to Beat Jev on Decision Index

Liquid AI has introduced a specialized artificial intelligence tool called d1 to automate structured decision-making within software environments. The model is the first of its kind to outperform Jev on the Decision Index hosted by Hugging Face, while also demonstrating improved resistance to prompt injection and better handling of long, multilingual inputs.

The company developed d1 in 2 weeks and has released it as an experimental checkpoint for free testing. Liquid AI plans to refine the model's latency and quality before making it available on OpenRouter. Some early users have likened the release of specialized decision models to the influence of the BERT era in 2020.
