Tesla's new self-driving vehicle with no steering wheel or pedals debuts tonight at a production unveiling event in the Texas capital. Riders can now choose between the Cybercab and Model Y via the Robotaxi app, which also integrates "Hey Grok" voice commands for in-car controls.

The company currently operates 420 robotaxis in Texas to support the rollout of the new model. Elon Musk first introduced the concept of the wheel-less car in late 2024, promising a revolution in national travel through a "storm" of autonomous vehicles.
