London-based startup Callosum is developing software to route artificial intelligence tasks across a variety of models and semiconductor chips to optimize for cost and speed. The company announced a flagship partnership with Cerebras as part of its strategy to build a platform for heterogeneous intelligence that balances compute capability.

The $100M seed round, led by Atomico, marks the first investment from the UK Sovereign AI Fund and is among the largest seed financings in UK history. Founded by Dan Akarca and Jascha, the company previously raised a $10M pre-seed round five months ago.
