Dyna Robotics is deploying autonomous systems across the restaurant network of Din Tai Fung, one of the highest revenue per location chains in the US. The rollout marks a shift to scaled commercial deployment for the firm after its robots crossed a profitability threshold, addressing a persistent industry struggle to move from pilots to real-world customer deployments.
Dyna expects its total fleet across hotels, logistics, and data centers to reach hundreds of units by the first half of 2027. The company recently released Dyna-2, a world-action model pretrained on 1 million+ hours of human video, joining new foundation models from Skild AI and Generalist. In production, Dyna robots increased napkin folding from 35 to 95 per hour and raised the quality pass rate to 93%.
