The Association for Human Mathematics urged mathematicians to boycott OpenAI following the release of 722 mathematical manuscripts from an unreleased internal model. While some researchers have identified improvements to OpenAI's integer multiplication results, the proofs have not been fully checked and OpenAI acknowledges that some results without formal verification may contain errors.
