Waymo Deploys Ojai Robotaxis with Gemini AI to All Riders in 3 US Cities, Its Most Advanced In-Cabin Experience
Products41d agoRiders in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Phoenix now have access to Waymo's Ojai robotaxi, a new vehicle equipped with automatic sliding doors and integrated YouTube Music. The fleet provides expanded legroom and represents the company's most advanced in-cabin experience to date.
The vehicles integrate Google's Gemini AI assistant via a dedicated in-car screen icon for hands-free control of the cabin and navigation. Passengers can use voice commands to adjust seating and temperature or request recommendations for local destinations such as coffee shops.
