AMD, Cisco, and PIF-owned Humain have activated their first production AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia to provide GPU-as-a-service to customers. The current deployment utilizes AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, EPYC CPUs, and Cisco Silicon One networking to serve clients within the kingdom and abroad.
The joint venture plans to deploy up to 250 MW of capacity using next-generation MI400 series GPUs starting in 2027. The partners aim to scale the total infrastructure to 1 GW by 2030 to meet strong customer demand, with Cisco providing N9000 platforms and 800G optics to connect the GPU clusters.
