Taiwan Indicts 9 Including Nvidia and Super Micro Staff in $2.5 Billion AI Export Case
Industry39d agoTaiwan prosecutors charged nine individuals for the illegal shipment of high-end artificial intelligence servers to China. The group of defendants includes employees from Nvidia and Super Micro, following the conclusion of a probe into the unauthorized export of restricted hardware.
Super Micro previously announced that an independent board investigation found no evidence current senior management was aware of an alleged smuggling scheme. That review addressed claims involving $2.5 billion in hardware packed with Nvidia chips.
