GPT 6 Astra drives a new product targeting the work of Wall Street junior bankers, investment bankers, and equity researchers. The tool facilitates the creation of financial models and customized client materials using embedded data from PitchBook, Daloopa, and LSEG News. Integrated citations allow every figure and claim to be traced back to its original source.
OpenAI developed the financial services platform through partnerships with Morgan Stanley and Evercore to emulate professional analyst reasoning. The move intensifies competition with Anthropic for high value enterprise contracts within the financial sector. VP of Product Nick Turley said the software is designed to research and back up conclusions like an analyst.
