SpaceXAI released a series of updates to its command line interface to enhance how developers manage autonomous software agents. The v1.0.9 update for Grok Build introduces /workflow commands that allow users to set specific spending limits and reasoning effort for child agents. These changes enable AI agents to launch workflows by name from the model prompt and increase the resilience of concurrent subagents during processing bursts.

The release optimizes the grok clone command to fetch only the selected branch tip by default and enables instant switching between minimal and fullscreen TUI modes. SpaceXAI also updated Model Context Protocol (MCP) server connections to remove session startup delays and added User-Agent headers to allow providers to attribute traffic.
