Paid subscribers to the Codex platform will see a complete restoration of usage limits at 2 p.m. PST tomorrow. OpenAI identified inefficiencies in the product's image handling during long sessions, high p95+ usage for Computer History, and a conversation-title generation feature that consumed more credits than intended.

A technical team is shipping fixes for these issues tomorrow, and a novel efficiency improvement is scheduled for implementation next week. Some users have reported that credits are currently being consumed 2x faster than normal.
