JPMorgan maintained its $475 price target for Tesla after a visit to the Fremont factory, citing confidence in the company's ability to deploy its specialized autonomous platform. The automaker is intentionally capping the number of Model Y units in its robotaxi fleet to prioritize the near term scaling of the Cybercab.
Tesla views the FSD V15 release as a performance leap comparable to the transition from V13 to V14, with 40% of its seven core technologies currently under test. The company is deploying an AI4.5 compute system featuring 10% higher FLOPS and 2x higher memory to support expanding context windows for its models. Commercial sales of the Optimus humanoid robot are expected as early as the second half of 2027.
