A new robot-control system reduces parameter counts by 56% while improving performance over the previous best open model by 6.1 percentage points. Black Forest Labs released the weights for FLUX 3 Action, a 7B World Action Model that currently holds first place on the RoboLab benchmark. The system runs up to 3.95x faster than the prior top open model and can plan more than twice as far ahead while predicting video and robot motions simultaneously. The model is natively integrated into Hugging Face’s LeRobot and supports edge deployment on NVIDIA Jetson hardware. Built on the image, video, and audio pretraining of FLUX 3, the release includes the code and fine-tuning recipes required for developers to create specific policies for automotive control, gaming, and computer use.
