Visa Benchmark Finds AI Shopping Agents Average 57.2% Success Rate

Visa launched a benchmark for agentic commerce that tested 22 AI shopping agents across 15 tasks, finding an average success rate of 57.2% in completing purchases based on specific user requirements. Among the tools tested, Google's Gemini 4 Argon and Muse Wonder achieved the highest accuracy with an 82% success rate, with operational costs of $0.54 and $1.55 per run respectively.
