Nous Research Launches Bot Mode for Hermes Desktop to Enable Inter Agent Communication

The Hermes Desktop application will integrate persistent AI personas capable of interacting with one another starting this Monday. This "Bot Mode" update serves as an alternative to the existing sessions mode and lets users define specific roles and descriptions for each AI bot.

Nous Research is running a one day public beta test through a plugin to gather user feedback on bugs and functionality. The final version will move into the main desktop app after this trial period, allowing bots to hold individual chats and coordinate with other profiles.
