Ukrainian drone strikes forced Yandex to shut down its largest data center in Sasovo and disable server modules at a second site in the Kaluga region. The Sasovo facility houses two of Yandex's three AI development supercomputers and imported nearly 2,700 Nvidia A100 GPUs before sanctions. The attacks caused nationwide service interruptions for banks and online platforms.
