CFO Krishna Rao has led recent briefings with investors as Anthropic prepares for an initial public offering filing as soon as the end of August. The artificial intelligence firm aims for a deal size that would match or exceed the $86.2 billion record set by SpaceX, with a potential public listing targeted by the end of October.
The company is creating supervoting shares for CEO Dario Amodei and other co-founders to help them retain influence as their ownership is diluted. These governance measures, planned ahead of a potential September IPO, are intended to insulate leadership from outside shareholder pressure.
