Black Forest Labs Ships FLUX 3 Image for High Precision Editing

The model, called FLUX 3 Image, supports resolution output up to 4K and allows creators to define layouts using bounding boxes or compose scenes with up to 10 reference images. Commercial weights are available now for companies operating image generation at scale. The model is currently live on the fal platform, where it supports native 2K and 4K generation and multi-pass targeted edits. Black Forest Labs will release an open weights version of the tool in the coming weeks, with a separate post indicating an Oct. 6 launch date.
