CoreWeave CEO Sold $907M of Stock in 2026 Before Calling 25% Rout Irrational

marketbrief.now

SEC filings show CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator sold $907 million of stock in 2026, while early backer Magnetar Capital offloaded more than $5.5 billion of shares since the March 2025 IPO. Together with co-founders Brian Venturo and Brannin McBee, the three executives have sold $3.3 billion in stock since going public, including $2.4 billion this year, making Venturo the second-largest insider seller at any US company in 2026. The sales contrast with an internal memo in which Intrator told employees that "there will be periods of time when the market misunderstands and acts irrationally" as CoreWeave shares fell 12% on Friday to bring their weekly loss to 25%.
