AI assistants such as Claude Code and Codex can now provision and manage their own serverless infrastructure to deploy the applications they build. InstaCloud, the startup behind the platform, secured an $8M seed round to automate manual DevOps tasks, allowing coding agents to independently handle scaling and monitoring while leaving critical approvals to human users.

The serverless system can scale based on traffic or drop to zero when idle, and allows agents to create replicas of entire environments, including data, to test code without risking production. The platform supports hosting for apps, agents, and external tools like Grafana or n8n through integration via MCP or CLI.
