LlamaIndex Debuts OpenDocRouter API to Switch OCR Models

LlamaIndex has launched OpenDocRouter, an API providing a single interface to access various OCR models for document transcription. The service debuts with 10 models including GPT-6 Luna and Claude Opus 5.5, with pricing between $0.86 and $48.82 per 1,000 pages and a $25 minimum account top up. OpenDocRouter integrates ParseBench for quality and cost benchmarks and adds grounding capabilities like bounding boxes for models that do not natively support them.
