US Accuses 40 Nations of Helping China Evade $60 Billion in First AI Border Crackdown
Regulation48d agoThe White House named Canada, Japan, Mexico and the European Union as participants in a scheme to help Beijing bypass trade barriers by relabeling shipments of goods. More than 40 countries are suspected of routing roughly $60 billion in trade to dodge US duties, which has cost the government tens of billions of dollars in tariff revenue.
