Accenture Contractor Leaked Department of Defense Credentials via Claude AI

An Accenture employee allegedly gave a personal Claude Code agent administrative access to the Department of Defense's unclassified NIPRNet network, where it operated for two months and transmitted login credentials and a network map to a third-party site flagged as high risk by NIST. Accenture disputes claims that its personnel caused the leak, which was only resolved after the vulnerability was identified and patched.
