Apple đóng cửa phiên thứ Sáu với vốn hóa thị trường 5,03 nghìn tỷ USD, vượt mặt Nvidia ở mức 4,94 nghìn tỷ USD để trở thành công ty có vốn hóa thị trường cao nhất thế giới, kết thúc một chu kỳ giảm mạnh trong ngành công nghệ đã xóa đi gần 2 nghìn tỷ USD khỏi cổ phiếu Mỹ. Chỉ số Nasdaq Composite giảm 2,85%, tương đương 746,33 điểm, xuống 25.438,40 — phiên giảm điểm tệ nhất kể từ tháng Sáu, trong khi S&P 500 mất 1,84% xuống 7.578,14 và Dow Jones Industrial Average giảm 1,11% xuống 51.763,41. Chỉ số Nasdaq 100 sụp giảm 4,2%, xóa mất 1,7 nghìn tỷ USD giá trị, đưa chỉ số xuống 10% so với mức cao kỷ lục vào ngày 6 tháng Mười năm nay và vào chỉnh điạch thứ ba trong năm 2026, trong khi tháng này là tháng giảm điểm tệ nhất kể từ tháng Ba 2025 với mức giảm hơn 7%.
