TypeSafe AI's latest decision-focused model grew twice as fast as the GPT-5.6 family within its first 24 hours of availability. It outperformed the early adoption rate of Fable 5.1 by six times using a training method called RLCD. The model is designed to be 20 to 200 times faster and 40 to 400 times cheaper than previous frontier AI, featuring free output tokens.

Braintrust has added the tool as an evaluation model, and the developer app Cline released a plugin allowing Jev to control Chrome in the background. These integrations complement Vercel's AI Gateway distribution. Early developer feedback suggests the surge in interest stems from a widespread need to reduce the cost and latency associated with deploying AI agents at scale.
