Yandex has invoked force majeure after aerial strikes in the Vladimir region disabled redundancy systems and knocked out two cloud availability zones. The attacks left some database clusters in read-only mode and disrupted more than 80 services, including AI tools, smart home devices, and the Yandex Go app. Outages have spread to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Serbia, impacting third-party retailers like Lamoda and Magnit.
