British researchers will obtain millions of real-world combat images under a new defense pact to enhance military artificial intelligence. Signed in Kyiv, the agreement grants the UK access to the Avengers AI Labs battlefield-data platform, making it the first foreign nation to obtain Ukraine's combat data for the purpose of training AI models.

The two countries will jointly develop and test AI-enabled military capabilities as part of the expanded partnership. In a separate move to bolster Ukrainian defenses, Britain is releasing classified data to enable the local production of Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
